Project management refers to a skill and experience used in the management of any type of project, large or small. From ensuring a client’s brief is clearly recorded and agreed through the assembling of the appropriate consultant team, scope and design development, selection of an appropriate form of contract, selecting appropriate contractors, running a tender process with essential probity, assessing tenders, appointing the contractor and then managing the works, program, accounting and delivery and handover.

Every project large or small will have elements of these various stages; every project is different.
